Kansas City, MO - The National Aministrative Council of the NAIA announced that Flag Football has moved from an Emerging Sport to an Invitational Sport. This is a huge development for not only the Webber International Flag Football teams, but for other teams across the country.

The NAIA released a statement from Austin Bennett, the NAIA Vice President of Championships, stating ""We're excited and encouraged by the continued, rapid growth of Women's Flag Football in the NAIA, and proud to be leading the way in that growth in the collegiate space, getting to invitational status is a big step in solidifying the sport on college campuses across the country."
