Webber International University Athletic Policy

Each sport is required to provide their athletes one mandatory day off per week, regardless of if the team is in its 24 weeks of practice or not, where all athletic related activities are prohibited. This policy is for physical and emotional health, academic success, and personal/interpersonal well-being of our student-athletes. Sunday will be the designated day for Webber International University athletics. 

This calendar day can be changed on a case-by-case basis only with the approval of the Director of Athletics.

This policy will also be exempt during participation in the NAIA post season.

The Director of Athletics, Brad Niethammer and the Senior Woman Leader, Dr. Farchmin, will be dual “point persons” that can be notified via email or in person with concerns of any non-compliance of the policy.
