Tampa, FL – The SUN Conference released its All-Conference Teams for Women's Flag Football Wednesday afternoon. Honored on the list from Webber International were Sammy Gonzalez, Cheyenne Durand, and Kaitlyn Sigmundi. All three Warriors were named to the All-Conference Second Team, with Gonzalez and Sigmundi being named to both offense and defense.

Sigmundi split her time between the outside receiver and the safety positions. She also served as a captain for the Warriors this season. She was one of the team leaders in receiving yards, catches, and touchdowns. Defensively, she was a team leader in interceptions, including being a part of multiple pick-sixes. The Sophomore put together another solid season for the Warriors and will look to continue her success next season.

Gonzalez played both running back and linebacker for Webber this season. As a running back, she was a key blocker for Webber as well as a prime target in dump off situations. Gonzalez was a team leader in receptions and receiving yards with an adept ability at avoiding tacklers when she's running. Defensively, she was a team leader in flag pulls, notching multiple games with 7+ flag pulls. The Senior finishes her outstanding career with this achievement.

Durand played as a cornerback for the Warriors this season. The Midland transfer was a team leader in flag pulls and interceptions, including multiple in the redzone to take away opponent touchdowns. Durand was a big presence on the Warriors defense all season long and made it known when she was on the field. The Junior will look to improve even more from this achievement and come back ready to do more for the Warriors next season.

Webber is proud of the accomplishments of all three and will look to lean on Sigmundi, Gonzalez, and Durand in both the SUN Conference Tournament and the NAIA Tournament.

The Warriors will be back in action on Thursday, April 25th when they travel to West Palm Beach, Florida for the first round of the SUN Conference tournament hosted by Keiser.
