Babson Park, FL – The Webber International Flag Football team hosted the Campbellsville Tigers on the Warrior Turf Field Friday afternoon. On a day where the Warriors honored 4 seniors, Webber came out on top 34-6 over Campbellsville. 

The first drives from both teams were unsuccessful, as Kaitlyn Sigmundi would catch two passes but the Warriors were forced to punt. Webber would force the Tigers into a turnover on downs with tackles from Gabby Franzose, Rylee Bolser, and Jasmine Henry. Leah Bailey and Henry would catch passes on the next drive before Samantha Wilson ran the ball in from the seven-yard line for a touchdown. Campbellsville's ensuing drive would reuslt in a punt for the Tigers, with Sammy Gonzalez collecting three tackles and Bolser blocking the punt. Sigmundi caught a pass from the four-yard line for another touchdown and the Warriors took a 14-0 lead. Cheyenne Durand intercepted the first pass of the next drive, and on fourth down, Henry caught a touchdown to make it 21-0. 

Savannah Jolman, Abbygale Jordan, and Durand all made their presences known on the next drive for the Tigers, forcing them into another turnover on downs. Passes to Bailey, Zoe Melo, and Emma Balacco set the Warriors up with first and 19, before a pass to Bolser resulted in a touchdown, bringing the score to 27-0 headed into halftime. 

Neither team was able to get much going early in the second half, as Kailey Wine came up with a pass breakup, and Kate Thegenus had a tackle as well. A sack from Balacco gave the Warriors the ball on the 18 and they took advantage, as Wilson threw another touchdown to Sigmundi, making it 34-0. Bolser intercepted a pass, but Webber would be unable to capitalize, turning the ball over on the seven-yard line. Campbellsville took the ball down 73 yards and punched it into the endzone, making it 34-6. A pass to Sigmundi would be the final play of the game as the Warriors took down the Tigers 34-6 

The Warriors will be back in action on Saturday, April 20th when they head to West Palm Beach, Florida for the SUN Conference Regular Season Finale.
