"The Warriors capitalized on a good training block and had improved performances throughout the team. For the men: freshman Caden Marsh had a big day. In the weight throw he showed improved form for a personal best and the came up big in the shot. Caden finished 5th overall and is now number 2 in the sun conference. Caden was 1 of 2 non division 1 athletes to place top 6. The distance squad all had personal bests in their priority events while the jumpers and throwers continued to gain experience. The women welcomed back Senior Destinee Alford in the throws. TJ Brockington had a busy day competing in 5 events. I'm proud of the work this team is putting in and I'm excited for the conference meet next weekend in Gainesville."
The Warriors will compete in the SUN Conference Indoor Championships next weekend in Gainesville.
