Tampa, FL - The SUN Conference released its Players of the Week Monday afternoon. Webber International Thrower Deryke Dennard was honored as the Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Dennard competed in the shot put for the Warriors at the Superfly Preseason Showcase on Saturday evening. Dennard finished third in the event with his longest throw traveling 10.40 meters. Dennard has competed well in the shot put all season long and his efforts have culminated in this award.

Dennard and the Warriors will be back in action at the SUN Conference Championship in Gainesville, Florida on February 16th and 17th.
