The native of Watford, England, who boasts a 4.0 grade point average in the sport business management program at Webber, started in all 15 matches for the Warriors' women's soccer team in 2019 and led the team in goals and points for the second year in a row. Warner has also made the dean's list during all three of her semesters at Webber so far.
Head Women's Soccer Coach
Brian Fallon said, "Megan has been a true leader of this team and certainly has earned this award based on athletics and academics. She is a true student-athlete and we are excited that she has been recognized. We know that her future is so bright, and we look forward to her future success."
In addition to helping Webber women's soccer reach the six-win mark in a season for only the second time in five years, Warner also finished off her senior season with nine goals and four assists (22 points), which combined with her seven goals and two assists as a junior gives her a combined 38 points during her two-year career as a Warrior.
During the regular season in 2019, Warner also finished top-eight in The Sun Conference in goals per match and was top-11 in points per match.
Her three match-winning goals during the 2019 season also ranked as the fifth most in The Sun Conference throughout the year.
Following the 2018 campaign, Warner's first in Babson Park, Florida, she was awarded with the Golden Boot Award and Rookie of the Year honor during the Warriors' postseason awards banquet.
Community service projects the Warriors have helped with during Warner's tenue include making a meal for the local fire station in Babson Park and volunteering at the Give Kids the World Village.
