BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University women's soccer is set for a two match home stand at Warriors Field. The Warriors open the week against Thomas University, Thursday, October 1 at 3:30 pm and then take on SCAD, Sunday, October 4 at 1 p.m.

Last Time OutThe Warriors opened Sun Conference play last week, taking on Johnson & Wales and No. 4 Keiser. Webber International went 1-1 in those matches.
The Warriors played great against Johnson & Wales. The first half saw an offensive outburst from both teams, with five balls finding the back of the net. Woman-in-form
Cierra Abundez scored twice in the first half, with
Megan Howard tallying a goal of her own to give Webber International a 3-2 half time lead.
The scoring continued in the second half. Freshman Juliana Funtes scored the first goal of her Warriors career, while Abundez was able to notch her second-consecutive hat trick and a 5-3 victory.
In the second match of the week, the Warriors fell to the Seahawks of Keiser, 5-0.
Earlier this week Webber International traveled to Boca Raton, Florida to take on, NCAA D-2 opponent, Lynn falling, 5-0.
About ThomasThe Night Hawks are 4-5 in 2015, with a 1-1 mark in the Sun Conference. Thomas has been up and down in its last four matches, going 2-2. The Night Hawks faced two ranked teams during that stretch, beating then-RV Auburn Montgomery and losing out to then-No. 23 St. Thomas.
The Night Hawks have great balance on offense. Thomas boast three players who have scored two goals this season, while also having three players who have registered an assist.
About (RV) SCADThe Bees hold a 5-3-2 overall record and a 2-0-0 record in the Sun Conference. SCAD is unbeaten in its last four matches, going 3-0-1.
The Bees are currently on a three-match win streak. During the streak, SCAD has scored eight goals, while posting three shutouts.
The SCAD offense is led by Alyssa Rodemsky who has scored a team-best seven goals.
