Olof Scores First Goal of Season as Warriors Fall to Warner in Non-Conference Matchup

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Webber International University women's soccer team battled Warner University on Tuesday evening in a non-conference makeup game, with Olof Sigurdardottir scoring her first goal of the season in a 2-1 loss to the Royals.

The Warriors struck first in the opening half. Sigurdardottir found the back of the net in the 20th minute, giving Webber an early 1-0 advantage. The goal marked her first of the 2026 season.

Warner answered later in the first half, scoring in the 38th minute to even the match at 1-1 heading into halftime.

Webber continued to create opportunities throughout the contest and finished with a 12-10 advantage in total shots. The Warriors also placed eight shots on goal, but Warner goalkeeper Haley Van Houweling recorded seven saves.

The match remained tied deep into the second half before Warner found the game-winning goal in the 85th minute to secure the 2-1 victory.

Sigurdardottir finished the match with two shots, including one on goal, while Morgan Myers, Tatum Moore and Sophia Schlager each recorded multiple scoring opportunities. Grayce Kidwell and Robyn Drinkwater also added shots for the Warriors.

Goalkeeper Avery Parm played all 90 minutes in net for Webber and recorded four saves.

Tuesday's contest served as a makeup game from last week's postponed matchup and did not count toward conference standings.
