Lady Warriors Head to the 29th NAIA National Championship Open Round

Savannah, Ga. – Webber International University Lady Warriors' volleyball team defeated Embry-Riddle University, 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, and 25-23) on Saturday November 15th at the championship conference game for The Sun Conference.
This improves the Warriors overall record to 27-9 and will advance them to the NAIA National Championship Open Round in Mobile Alabama on Saturday, November 22nd. The Warriors will play University of Mobile, a team they played early in the year and was defeated by in five very close sets. The match will start at 7:30 p.m. and the winner of the match will advance to the final site in Sioux City Iowa where they will face some of the top 16 NAIA teams in the country.
Webber International was led by Cindy Eurie with14 kills and7 digs while Kristina Reeves, Jasmine Chriss and Ashley Naughton added 6 more each. Tammy Needham defensive specialist led the Warriors in double figures with 16 digs and Danelle Wagner led in double figures with 19 assist closely followed by Trisha Belcher with 17 assist of her own.
Abby Hall led the Eagles with 8 kills and Alana Martinez added 6. Marissa Gonzales had 21 assists 15 digs, while Julia Frassetto led the Eagles with 15 digs.
