Marrietta, GA - The 2nd ranked Webber International Men's Lacrosse team take on the University of the Cumberlands Patriots in the semifinals of the AAC tournament Friday afternoon. As the #1 seed, the Warriors were given a first round bye.
After the Warriors historic 13-1 regular season, finishing with a share of the AAC Regular Season Title, the Warriors matchup with a familiar foe in the Patriots. Webber took down Cumberlands 10-9 in overtime after a golden goal by Webber Attackman
Nick Sheaffer, The Warriors will look to advance to the title game as the Patriots are looking for revenge. The winner of this game will face the winner of the other semifinal matchup between the Reinhardt Eagles and the Keiser Seahawks.
This will be the Warriors first action since their regular season finale against Keiser, and Webber is roaring and ready to go, as they continue to gain momentum towards the NAIA Tournament and fighting for a Red Banner.
