Savannah, GA – In an intense lacrosse showdown, Concordia University Ann Arbor (CUAA) outpaced Webber International University (WIU), securing a 12-7 victory through strong early momentum and critical late-game scoring.

CUAA quickly established dominance, with Nick Bradford scoring within the opening minute. Andrew Simmons doubled the lead midway through the first quarter. Jeremiah Loo responded for WIU with a crucial man-up goal, yet CUAA's Simmons struck again before quarter's end, leaving CUAA ahead 3-1.

The second quarter saw continued pressure from CUAA, as Spencer Guppy contributed two key goals, one during a man-up opportunity. WIU's Nick Sheaffer managed a timely goal, but CUAA maintained control, closing the half up 6-2 after another Simmons score.

WIU mounted a spirited third-quarter rally, sparked by goals from Loo, Sheaffer, Daniel McClure, and Bentley King, narrowing the deficit dramatically to 7-6. CUAA's Ryan Davis and Spencer Guppy steadied their squad, however, securing essential points to restore a cushion, making it 8-6 entering the final quarter.

In the fourth, CUAA decisively pulled away. Guppy, Cooper Regimbal, and Davis extended the lead, capitalizing on WIU penalties and turnovers. Despite a late effort and goal from WIU's King, CUAA's relentless offense and sturdy defense sealed their 12-7 win.

Standout performances included CUAA's Andrew Simmons and Spencer Guppy, each delivering critical goals and assists, while WIU's Jeremiah Loo and Nick Sheaffer led their team's scoring attempts. Goalkeepers Joseph Loria (CUAA) and Luke Secreti (WIU) each made several impactful saves throughout this fiercely contested matchup.
