BABSON PARK, Fla. (January 30, 2023) – Niesha Aldajuste has been named The Sun Conference Women's Track & Field, Field Athlete of the Week conference officials announced on Monday. 

The men's and women's track & field teams competed at the Alachua County Collegiate Invitational this past Friday in Gainesville, Florida. 

Aldajuste finished second place in the women's weight throw with a mark of 15.48m, which is 0.32m off the NAIA B standard. She also competed in shot put, finishing in seventh place with a mark of 10.72m. Both finishes were first among all NAIA-competitors at the meet. 

The Warriors now look to The Sun Conference Indoor Championships which will take place in Birmingham, Alabama on Monday, February 6th.
