BABSON PARK, Fla. (January 5, 2021) – With the new Webber International University track & field season beginning in less than two weeks, new Head Coach Caleb Wisecarver has announced the 2021 schedule for both the Warriors' men's and women's track & field teams.

After their 2020 season was cut short right after indoor nationals, the Warriors are looking forward to a new season this spring. The upcoming track & field season will also be the first year The Sun Conference officially sponsors indoor track & field.

The indoor portion of the schedule for Webber will kick off at home with the Fifth Annual Warrior Invitational on Saturday, January 16, at the Frostproof High School Track. It will be the first of three home meets this year for the Warriors.

Webber will then compete on the road for the first time with the KMS Invitational held in Birmingham, Alabama, on Saturday, January 23.

Then, after Webber' second home meet of the indoor track & field season, the Warrior Classic, which will be held on Saturday, January 30, the first ever Sun Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship will be held on Saturday, February 6, at the Jacket's Nest (Thomas County Central High School) in Thomasville, Georgia.

To conclude the indoor campaign, any Warriors who qualify will compete in the 2021 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships, which will be held from Wednesday, March 3, through Saturday, March 6, at Mount Marty University's newly-built Ruth Donohoe First Dakota Fieldhouse in Yankton, South Dakota.

Following indoor nationals, the 2021 outdoor track & field campaign for Webber will begin with a meet hosted by St. Thomas University on Saturday, March 13, at the Ansin Sports Complex in Miramar, Florida.

The Sun Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships will take place on Saturday, May 1, and Sunday, May 2, at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.

After that, Webber will host a final meet before outdoor nationals, the Warrior Last Chance, on Sunday, May 9.

The year will then wrap up with the 2021 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, held May 20-22 inside Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
