BABSON PARK, Fla. (May 24, 2021) – Former Webber International University men's basketball player Matt Washington has signed to play in the American Basketball Association (ABA) semi-professional league with a brand new team called the Bradenton Yessuh. The American Basketball Association is an American semi-professional men's basketball minor league that was founded in 1999.

Washington, a 6-foot-0 guard from Hollywood, Florida, was one of the Warriors' leaders on the JV men's basketball team during the last two seasons.

"I am very excited for this opportunity for Matt," said Webber's Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and Head JV Coach Chase Driscoll. "He was a major part in the great season we had last year, and his ability to score both inside and out and lead others will help him at the next level. I am looking forward to watching him play and continue his career."
