BABSON PARK, Fla. (April 3, 2019) – The final stats for the statistical leaders of the 2019 Webber International University junior varsity baseball team, which finished up its season with an 8-13 overall record on Tuesday, March 26, are below.

Orlando Pena – .429 AVG/12 BB/10 RBI's
Keyon Floyd – .348 AVG/8 doubles/17 RBI's
Tyler Buckner – .380 AVG/10 doubles/16 RBI's
Luis Besteiro – .355 AVG/6 doubles/ 10 RBI's
 
Most successful pitchers on the year:
Jose Santiago
Austin Seeman
Joseph Creamons
Jason Rewis
Words from Coach Matt Saliba: "These four threw the most innings and all had successful seasons. Jason Rewis had his best year on the mound and the three freshman all came in and proved that they could pitch."
 
Thanks to their efforts this season, Orlando Pena, Keyon Floyd and Tyler Buckner have each earned their call up to the Warriors' varsity team. Pitchers Austin Seeman and Jose Santiago are each already apart of the Warriors' varsity squad, and are both 1-0 on the season with strong varsity debut performances already under their belts.
