BABSON PARK, Fla. (November 26, 2018) – The Webber International University track & field teams hosted their 2nd Annual Turkey Trot 5k Fun Run and Walk on Saturday, November 17, on Webber's campus. This year's Turkey Trot was a great success as first year Graduate Assistant Throws Coach Chelsea Gobourne spearheaded the event.

Head Track & Field Coach David Andrews said, "There were more participants than last year. Coach G and the team did a great job making everyone feel welcomed."

In all, 25 turkeys were donated for the event from Publix as partial proceeds went to The American Diabetes Association.

All of the participants were given a 12-pound turkey and the winner received a 25-pound turkey.
