BABSON PARK, Fla. (November 1, 2018) – The Webber International University men's soccer team volunteered it's time to host a soccer camp for the Auburndale Scream Soccer Club on the evening of October 29th.

This is the second time this year that Coach Neil Cockburn's team has held a camp for youngsters between the ages of 8 to 15 years of age. The previous time was with the Lake Wales Soccer Club on August 20th and 23rd.

There were over 50 kids at the Auburndale Soccer Club as boys and girls were treated to learning several ball skills from the Warriors' soccer players while also working on shooting, goalkeeping and possession. There were also several stations where the kids were able to take on and learn different aspects of the game.

Coach Cockburn had competitions where the kids won prizes for being the best to perform several skills, such as the Maradona, Cruyff Turn, Ronaldo flick and the Brazilian scissors. There was even an MVP reward for the best boy and girl soccer player that ended up going to 10-year old Luke Deemer and 8-year old Mckenna Battila, who both won soccer balls.

Coach Cockburn stated, "It is great to give back to the community, my players did a fantastic job and made the camp special for these young enthusiastic soccer players at Auburndale Scream. We will certainly be back in the near future."
