BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors softball team traveled to Boca Raton Florida, to take on NCAA-II Lynn University Lady Fighting Knights in a 12:00 p.m. double-header. The Lady Warriors won game one 7-5 and Lady Fighting Knights won game two 4-2 splitting the double-header.
Leading the Lady Warriors on the field for game one were:
Jennifer Hamil going three for three at the plate with two runs and two RBI's;
Zoe Hart was one for three at the plate scoring one run and had one RBI;
Erika Bellinger collected the win for the Lady Warriors pitching staff;
Kayla Montogomery collected the save for the Lady Warriors pitching staff.
Leading the Lady Warriors in game two were:
Jennifer Hamil with two hits on three at bats with one RBI;
Stephanie Cabrices went one for three at the plate with one run; Naomi Speurgeon collected the loss for the pitching staff.
The Lady Warriors record moves to 6-5 overall and they will return to action on Friday, February 20
th as they travel to Florida Southern College to take on the Lady Mocs in a double-header starting at 6:00 p.m.
