Football Sees Nine Named USA College Football NAIA All-America

BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University football boasted a Sun Conference-best nine players named USA College Football NAIA All-America.

The Warriors boasted four players on the First Team. On offense, running back Darius Page and offensive lineman Macander Dieudonne made the First Team cut. Running behind Dieudonne, Page set a Webber International single season rushing record, racking up 1,239 yards.

Defensive end Brandon Roberts and defensive back Tajghi Robertson represented the Warriors on the defensive First Team. Roberts finished the season with a Sun Conference-best 11 sacks, closing out his career with a Webber International record 16.5 sacks. In one season with the Warriors, Robertson tallied 46 tackles and three interceptions, including a pick-six in Webber International's victory over archrival Warner.

Three Warriors were named to the Second Team. Offensive lineman Christopher Barbosa represented the offense while linebacker Tyson Burch and defensive back Malik Brooks represented the defense.

A third offensive lineman received All-America honors. Sophomore Javan Christian was named to the Honorable Mention team.

Freshman defensive lineman rounded out the Webber International All-America selections, being named to the Rookie Team.
