Tampa, FL – The SUN Conference announced its Players of the Week for the week of November 10th on Monday afternoon. A trio of Warriors were named on the list as Webber Football swept the football category as MarQuez Griffin, Quinton Moore, and Rourke Davis were named the Defensive, Offensive, and Special Teams Players of the Week respectively.
Griffin led the Warriors with 9.0 tackles against the Nighthawks, including 1.5 tackles for loss and also forcing a fumble, anchoring the defense in the 61-0 win.
Moore led the offense with three total touchdowns, two on the ground and one reception. His biggest play was a 92-yard touchdown run as he broke through the line and was off to the races.
Davis was a perfect 8-8 on PATs, while also adding a 39-yard field goal for 11 kicking points. Davis also took four kickoffs, averaging 64 yards per kick with two touchbacks.
