5 Warriors Named to SUN All-Conference Teams

Tampa, FL – The SUN Conference Fall Season has officially ended and with it come's the end of season All-Conference teams. Webber International Athletics had five athletes honored on the lists, as Webber Football's Jordon Carter, Omar Goosby, and Jaxson Rivera were listed on the Football All-Conference Second team, while Webber Volleyball's Kaylee Hunt and Alejandra Aponte were honored on the Volleyball All-Conference First and Second teams respectively.

Carter was an anchor on the offensive line for the Warriors. He was a key blocker for the Webber rushing attack that averaged 163 yards per game, capped off with a 399-yard performance on Senior Day against Thomas.

Goosby was a force on the defensive line for Webber. He was the team's second leading tackler with 50.0 tackles. He also added 5.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks.

Rivera handled punting duties for the Warriors again this season. His longest punt of the year was a 54-yard bomb and was one of three kicks he sent over 50 yards. Rivera averaged 40.02 yards per punt, and had 16 land inside the 20-yard line.

Hunt hit multiple career milestones for the Warriors this season, joining the 1000 kill and digs clubs. She led the Warriors with 404.5 points, and 356 kills. She also added 35 service aces, 340 digs, and 38.0 blocks.

Aponte was one of the best Liberos in the conference and the country. She led the Warriors with 663 digs enroute to joining the 1000 digs club. She was top 5 in the country in digs, with her 663 digs leading the SUN Conference.
