LAKE WALES, Fla. – No. 24 Webber International University football opened Sun Conference play, Saturday, against Edward Waters at Legion Field. Darius Page was strong for the Warriors, but it was super sub Garry Chouloute who sparked Webber International's offensive outburst.

The Warriors went to the ground-and-pound early and often in the first quarter. Webber International scored on the opening possession, handing the ball off to Page eight times, who punched it in from 17 yards out, carrying a few Tiger defenders into the end zone with him. Late in the first quarter, quarterback Billy Pavlock went down with an injury, with Chouloute coming in as a replacement.

Webber International continued to impose its will on Edward Waters in the second quarter. After an athletic interception by Tajghi Robertson, the Warriors would close out the first half with a touchdown from Chouloute to go ahead, 14-0.

The third quarter saw much of the same, with the Warrior defense shutting out Edward Waters for a third-consecutive quarter. Webber International jumped out to a 21-0 lead after Chouloute found Jeremiah Harris, who made an outstanding catch in the back of the end zone.

The Warrior offense took off in the fourth quarter, crossing the goal line three times. Page ran in his second touchdown of the game, just seconds into the final quarter, putting Webber International ahead 28-0. Chouloute tossed his second touchdown of the game soon after, finding Jaden Adams on a 10-yard slant in the middle of the field.

Edward Waters avoided the shutout with seven minutes left in the game, punching it in from a yard out to cut the Warrior lead to 35-7.

The Warriors did not slow up, with a 28-point lead in hand. After completing two long throws, Chouloute blew past the Tiger defense, rushing for a 28-yard touchdown, securing Webber International's, 42-7, victory.

The Warriors are back in action, Saturday, October 17 when they host Point University.
