BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors softball team hosted the Eckerd College Lady Tritons in a double-header that started at 1:00 p.m. The Lady Tritons were too much for the Lady Warriors to handle as they lost both games. The game one final score was 2-1 and game two was 6-1.
 
The Lady Tritons put the first runs on the board in game one in the top of the 4^th inning scoring one run. Then in the top of the 5^th they extended their lead scoring another run. The Lady Warriors tried to rally in the bottom of the 7^th inning but would come up short only scoring one run ending the game 2-1.
 
In game two The Lady Tritons posted the first run again in the top of the 4^th inning but the Lady Warriors would answer in the bottom of the 4^th tieing the game, 1-1. In the top of the 6^th inning Eckerd would extend their lead adding two more runs, 3-1. Then in the top of the 7^th inning the Lady Tritons put the game away scoring three more runs, 6-1.
 
The Lady Warriors fall to 1-3 overall and Eckerd College improves to 2-5 overall.
 
The Lady Warriors will return to action on Friday, February 14^th as they travel to the National Training Center to participate in The Sun Conference softball preview tournament. The first game will start at 11:00 a.m.
