BABSON PARK, Fla. – The first game of the round robin would start with the hosting Webber International University Warriors facing off against the #3 Embry-Riddle Eagles starting at 1:00 p.m. The Warriors came back late in the game forcing extra innings and won in the bottom of the 11th with a final score of 4-3.
The Eagles put the first points on the board against the Warriors starting pitcher #24
Chris Garcia in the top of the 3rd inning, 1-0. Then in the top of the 4th inning the Eagles extended their lead to 2-0.
The Warriors responded in the top of the 7th inning getting on the board with their first run of the game. #15
Chris Suto grounded out to the Eagles short-stop but drove in #34
Austin Aubuchon making it a one run game 2-1.
In the top of the 8th inning, with #55
Trevor Jones on the mound for the Warriors, the Eagles scored another run extending their lead back to two runs over the Warriors 3-1. Then in the bottom of the 8th inning the Warriors would again cut the lead to one run when #13
Ramon Sanchez doubled down the left line and drove in #22
Cody Warren, 3-2.
Then in the bottom of the 9th with two outs #15
Chris Suto hit a single into center field. Two batters later #5
Lane Crosson would also single to center field driving in #15
Chris Suto forcing extra innings tied at 3 apiece.
The Warriors sent #45
Nick Olson to the mound to face the Eagles in the 10th and 11th innings where he shut down the Eagles.
In the bottom of the 11th inning #15
Chris Suto was walked with one out. Then #5
Lane Crosson was walked with two outs sending Suto to second base. With two outs #22
Cody Warren drove in the winning run with a double to right field scoring Suto. The Warriors would upset #3 with a final score of 4-3.

Nick Olson collected the win for the Warriors pitching staff.
Overall the Warriors improve their record to 1-2 and the Eagles fall to 0-1.
The Warriors will return to action on Sunday, February 2nd as they host #24 William Carry University (Miss.) starting at 12:00 p.m.
