BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors softball team faced off against conference opponent Southeastern University Lady Fire in a double header which started at 1:00 p.m. The Lady Warriors would sweep both games from the Lady Fire, 2-1 in nine innings in the first game and 7-5 in seven innings in the second.
 
In the first game the Lady Warriors and the Lady Fire would go toe to toe for eight innings not allowing any runs. Then in the top of the 9^th inning the Lady Fire would score the first run of the game and the Lady Warriors would respond in the bottom of the 9^th with a two run double to win the game, 2-1.
 
In the second game both team would be tied 5-5 going into the bottom of the 6^th inning when the Lady Warriors would score the last two runs of the game winning with a final of 7-5.
 
The Lady Warriors improve their record to 11-9 overall and 3-1 in The Sun Conference.
 
The Lady Warriors will return to action on Wednesday, March 27^th, when they travel to Fort Lauderdale to take on Nova Southeastern University starting at 5:00 p.m.
