ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Lady Warriors swept Lady Tritons twice this 2012 season, the first time was at Frostproof Sports Complex. Webber International University took advantage of six fielding errors by the Eckerd College softball program during Wednesday's doubleheader at the Turley Athletic Facility, as the Tritons dropped both games to the Warriors, 10-1 (5 innings) and 5-2.
GAME ONE
Webber took down Eckerd 10-1 in 5 innings in the first game of the doubleheader.
Lady Warriors came out strong scoring 10 runs with 10 hits, leading the way were
Ashlee Quigley,
Yahtea Benton, and
Cody Windham with 2 runs each.
Jessica Lanci had 1 run, two hits and 4 RBIs as Lady Warriors took down Lady Tritons.
Dana Roloff pitched great in 5 innings where she took the victory as she faced 21 batters and only allowed four hits and strikeout 2 batters.
Alex Sasso, from Eckerd College, pinched hit for Sabrina Lolo and was the only one to score in the third inning. Kaitly Dougherty pitched in 3 innings where she faced 20 batters, allowed 7 hits and 8 runs, and she had 3 strikeouts.

GAME TWO
Webber took down Eckerd 5-2 in the second doubleheader and swept Lady Tritons.
Maureen Sandidge,
Allison Geiger,
Elizabet Rodriguez,
Cody Windham, and
Ashlee Quigley each had a run in a second game as they swept Lady Tritons.
Kiana Levy took a victory as she pitched in 7 innings where she faced 26 batters, had 4 strikeouts, allowed 4 hits and two of them where runs by Brittany Mitchell and Chelsea Jeffares, but it was not enough for Lady Tritons to take down Lady Warriors.

Webber International improved to 11-10 in the season as Eckerd College fell to 7-18 in the 2012 season.
Lady Warriors will be back in action on Saturday March 10, 2012 at they will host Concordia University (Neb.) in a doubleheader on
Nancy Nichols Field at 1 pm.
