Box Score

BABSON PARK, Fla. - The Warriors come from behind to take win over the Caves 5-4.

Warriors sent Rob Lane to the mount tonight as they looked to improve their record to .500 (11-11). Lane strong through the first 3 innings but ran in to trouble in the 4th as the Cavs pushed their first run across on a solo home run. Lane struggled some more in the 5th as he would walk 3 but only 2 came across to score on a 2 run double. The Warriors jumped on the board in the 5th with runners on 1st and 2nd Billy Farrell singled threw the left side. Derek Self scored from 2nd, the throw was cut off but thrown into right field which then allowed Hunter Ovens to score and Farrell to move up to 2nd which resulted as an unearned run. The Warriors will not stop there as Jr. Kyle Russo hit an RBI triple over the Center fielders head which would tie the game. After Robbie Payton pitch out of a 1st n 3rd jam the Warriors carried the momentum into the 6th. The Warriors would come through with 3 doubles in the inning by Austin AuBuchon, Derek Self, and Shane McIntyre. The Warriors would score 2 runs in the inning. Carlo Galluccio took the Mount looking to save the game for the Warriors. Galluccio would make it interesting as after getting 2 quick outs he would hit the next two batters followed by an RBI single to make the game 5-4 and runners on the corners. Galluccio would then stop the bleeding by getting the final out.

Robbie Payton improves to 2-0 on the year and Carlo Galluccio picks up save number 1.

Offensively the Warriors were led by Travis Noland (which left the game after having leg cramps), Derek Self, and Kyle Russo each picking up 2 hits each.

These same two teams will face off again tomorrow night with the first pitch at approximately 6:30 pm
