Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Lady Warriors a doubleheader with Lady Bobcats lost 2-3 in game one and earned a 5-1 victory in the second match Saturday March 24, 2012.

GAME ONE

Webber gained a 2-0 lead in the first two innings, and was held scoreless since, as to St. Thomas tied the game in the bottom of the third inning and took the lead and a victory in the fourth.

Ashley Peterson had a run and two hits in the loss, and Toni Marzello had a run. Dana Roloff started the game and pitched in three innings allowing 2 hits, 2 runs, and one strikeout as she faced 13 batters. Kiana Levy stepped in the fourth inning where she faced 12 batters, allowed 3 hits and one run, and three strikeouts.

GAME TWO

Lady Warriors rallied in the second game and took a 5-1 victory from Lady Bobcats.

Allison Geiger, Maureen Sandidge, Brittany Spencer, Elizabet Rodriguez, Jianna Hernandez, and Ashley Peterson each had a run in the second game as the Warriors took the second game of the doubleheader from St. Thomas. Ashlee Quigley pitched in 7 innings where she faced 27 batters, allowed 2 hits, a run, and had 6 strikeouts.

Webber improved to 21-18 and 4-2 in The Sun Conference; whereas, St. Thomas fell to 4-12 and 1-2 in the conference.

Lady Warriors will be back in action on Wednesday March 28, 2012 where they will take on Florida Southern College in a doubleheader match which will start at 6 pm at Frostproof Sporting Complex.
