Box Score 2 BABSON PARK, Fla. – Warriors baseball fell to Taylor University in a double-header on Monday night. Taylor won both games the first with a score of 7-2 and the second with a score of 10-0. The Warriors record falls to 16-15 overall and remains at 6-5 in The Sun Conference.
Game One
The Warriors sent
Armani Gonzalez to the mound looking for his fourth win of the season. Gonzalez would pitch almost four innings as Taylor University started out scoring two runs in the first, two more in the second inning, and two more in the fourth. Jesse Wiggington would relieve Gonzalez and give up only one run in the fourth inning.
The Warriors would only score two runs in the sixth inning both coming from a single into centerfield from
Hunter Ovens which drove in
Shane McIntyre and
Derek Self.
The Warriors lost the first game with a score of 7-2

Game Two
The Warriors sent
Sean Stanislawski to the mound looking for his first win of the season. Stanislawski would pitch three innings giving up five runs and would be relieved by
Robbie Payton who would also pitch three innings giving up two runs.
Kyle Russo would start pitching in the seventh inning for the Warriors and would give up three runs while getting two outs
Hunter Ovens would come to the mound and get the last out for the Warriors.
The Warriors lost game two with a score of 10-0.
