The rest of the first half was a back and forth battle in which the Warriors outshot the Royals 13-4.
After the half the Royals completely changed their line-up to fresh players, which shifted the momentum of the game in their favor. The Royals scored first in the second half at 51:37. After which the Royals took control of the game scoring at 76:24 and 81:50 which led to a 4-2 victory for the Royals. Coach Cockburn, stated after the game, " Overall I was happy with the performance from the players, I feel we controlled majority of the game, but I have to hand it to Warner they did have a game plan and executed it well. However, I feel my players did well considering we have players out due to suspensions, eligibility and injuries. I am particularly happy with my players that had to play different postions such as Michael Dowson, who did a fantastic job in Center Back. The team is playing some great soccer, and I am very postive about the future!
Warner University improves their record to 1-0 while Webber's record falls to 0-1.
The Warriors next match will be against St. Leo University in St. Leo, Florida starting at 7:00 p.m.
