Babson Park, Fla. – The Lady Warriors hosted the Lady Bobcats from St. Thomas this weekend as they played in three games.

The first game of the conference series was on Friday, April 8th, at 5 p.m. and the Lady Bobcats won 5-3.

The next day, Saturday, April 9th, the teams faced off in a double-header. The Lady Bobcats gained a 6-1 led after 5 innings of play. The Lady Warriors rallied in the bottom of the seventh scoring 3 runs but came up short and suffered a 6-4 loss.

After a short intermission and Senior Day announcements of Ashley Clark, Kristin Gaul, Morgan Hughart, Staci Cauther, and Shauna Ward; the Lady Warriors took the field against the Lady Bobcats for the last game. The Lady Warriors started off strong earning a led after the first inning. The Lady Bobcats then answered with a 5 run inning in the 2nd to take and control the game until the end, winning 8-5.

The Lady Warriors record is now 12-24 overall and are 2-4 in The Sun Conference.

St. Thomas' overall record is 22-17 and 6-1 in The Sun Conference.

The Lady Warriors will return to action as they are hosted by conference opponent SCAD on April, 15th, starting at 6:00 p.m.
