SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Webber baseball team got a great pitching performance from
Rob Lane and shutout the Bees of Savannah SCAD 8-0.
Rob Lane threw a complete game shutout scattering seven hits and struckout four. Lane improves to 5-2 on the year.
Leading the way on the dish was
Travis Noland who went three-for-four with a run scored and an RBI.
Nick Pascente drove in two runs while
Tripp Merrell scored twice.
Webber improves to 22-14 overall and 8-5 in the conference. The two teams will meet again tomorrow in a doubleheader with game one scheduled for noon.
