ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Webber baseball team dropped a game to the Clearwater Christian Cougars 8-4. The loss sends the Warriors record to 3-9.

Webber took the lead early but could not hold on as the Cougars took the lead 5-4 in the seventh and
added three more in the eighth. The Warriors loaded the bases in the ninth but stinging line hit by Travis
Noland was caught by a diving shortstop to end the rally and the game.

Hunter Ovens and Nate Goldstein each had two hits in the game while Jesse Wiggington picked up the
loss, his first of the year, throwing two innings and allowing five runs on five hits.

The Warriors take the field again on Thursday as they play host to Davenport University.
