Warriors Fall to Eagles in Tournament Opener 4-3 in 12 Innings

Ft. Myers, Fla. - Webber International University's baseball team falls to the Eagles of Embry Riddle 4-3 in game one of The Sun Conference Tournament games.
Taking the mound first for the Warriors was senior, Zach Hile, pitching five innings, allowing one run on four hits, and four strike outs.
Following Hile on the mound was Chris Kirk, pitching three innings, allowing two runs on four hits, and striking out one.
The last Warrior on the mound was junior Dominic Murray, also pitching three innings, allowing one run on four hits, and striking out six Eagles.
Leading at the plate for the Warriors was senior Chad Pearce going one for three with a run scored, Alfredo Carrillo went three for six with an RBI and a run scored, Jared Mathis hitting three for five, and Duane Bowman going one for three with a run scored.
The Warriors will take the field again tomorrow, May 4th, at 11 a.m. were they will play the Bobcats of St. Thomas University.
