Warriors Fall To Bobcats In Semi-Final Game

Winter Haven, Fla. - The Lady Warriors close season in the semi-final game of The Sun Conference Tournament versus St. Thomas University, 3-0.
 
On the mound for the Warriors was, Kristen LeFan, pitching six innings, allowing one run on five hit, and striking out seven.
 
With the Warriors as the home team, and the Bobcats at the plate first, they took full advantage and scored their first run in the first inning, taking a 1-0 lead over the Warriors.
 
As both teams held each other to scoreless inning, the Bobcats came back and put two more runs on the board in the bottom of the fifth inning.
 
With the Warriors unable to put runs on the board in the  sixth and seventh innings, the Bobcats take the 3-0 win over the Warriors, and advance to the championship game of The Sun Conference Tournament, where they will play Savannah College of Art and Design.
 
The Warriors end their winning season with a 28-19 overall record and 9-6 in The Sun Conference. The Lady Warriors will be losing one lone Warrior on the field, Christin Carson.
