Babson Park, FL – Webber International University Head Men's Lacrosse Coach Chris Burdick has announced the addition of Jack Koenn as the program's new Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.
Koenn joins the Warriors after serving as an assistant men's lacrosse coach at Point University, where he quickly established himself as one of the rising young coaches in the NAIA. During his time with the Skyhawks, he helped guide the program to a conference playoff appearance in 2024 before helping Point post a record-setting 8-8 season in 2025. The season was highlighted by an upset victory over nationally ranked SCAD and the program's largest recruiting class in school history, bringing in 18 student-athletes for the 2025 season.
"We are excited to welcome Jack to the Webber family," said Head Coach Chris Burdick. "From the first conversation, it was clear that he is someone who values relationships, player development, and recruiting at a very high level. He brings tremendous energy, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping young men reach their potential both on and off the field. His experience as both a player and coach in the NAIA makes him an outstanding addition to our staff."
A native of Dexter, Michigan, Koenn brings experience from both NCAA Division III and the NAIA as a player. He spent five collegiate seasons at Monmouth College, where he served as team captain and helped lead the Fighting Scots to the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Championship Game in 2021.
For his final season of eligibility, Koenn transferred to Point University, helping the Skyhawks return to the conference tournament in 2023. During his collegiate career as a midfielder and attackman, he totaled 32 career points on 17 goals and 15 assists while earning a reputation as a leader and competitor.
"I am incredibly grateful to Coach Burdick and the administration at Webber International for this opportunity," said Koenn. "Webber has built one of the premier programs in the NAIA, and I'm excited to be part of continuing that tradition. I look forward to building relationships with our student-athletes, helping them develop on the field, and bringing outstanding young men to Babson Park through recruiting."
Koenn's impact extends beyond the field. He earned his bachelor's degree from Monmouth College with majors in History and Political Science and a minor in International Studies before completing his Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Point University.
As Assistant Coach and Recruiting Coordinator, Koenn will assist with all aspects of the Warriors' program, including recruiting, player development, game planning, and day-to-day operations.
"We're building a staff that is committed to developing championship-caliber student-athletes," Burdick added. "Jack's enthusiasm, recruiting ability, and commitment to excellence fit perfectly with the culture we have established at Webber. We are thrilled to have him join our program."
Koenn joins a Webber International program that has quickly become one of the NAIA's top men's lacrosse programs, capturing the 2025 Appalachian Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship, establishing their first every #1 National Ranking in the process, and making multiple appearances in the NAIA National Championship tournament.
