Babson Park, FL. — Webber International University Athletics is proud to announce that men's lacrosse assistant coach and program alumnus Chase Jackson has been selected to represent the Puerto Rico National Men's Lacrosse Team at the 2026 Pan-American Men's Lacrosse Championship.

The championship is scheduled to take place in Kingston, Jamaica, from August 16–23, 2026, and will feature the top men's national lacrosse teams from across the Americas competing for the continental title. The top five finishers will earn automatic bids to the 2027 World Lacrosse Men's Championship in Japan, while four additional teams will qualify for the inaugural Division II Championship.

Jackson, who competed as an Attackman for the Webber Warriors, was one of the most productive offensive players in the program's young history. A four-year starter, Jackon's breakout seasons were in the 2023, where he appeared in all 19 games as a starter, recording 46 goals, 53 assists, and 99 points while helping lead the Warriors to a 16-4 overall record. He followed that with another outstanding campaign in 2024, starting all 18 games and contributing 38 goals, 58 assists, and 96 points as Webber finished 15-4. Across those two seasons alone, Jackson accumulated 84 goals, 111 assists, and 195 total points, consistently ranking among the team's top offensive contributors.  He totaled a career of over 300 points as well as multiple All-American and All-Conference honors.   Jackson led the Warriors to back-to-back national semifinal appearances in 2023 and 2024.

Following the conclusion of his playing career, Jackson transitioned into a coaching role with the Webber program, where he currently serves as Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach. His selection to the Puerto Rico national team reflects both the caliber of talent developed within the Webber lacrosse program and his continued commitment to the sport at the highest level.

"We are incredibly proud of Chase and the recognition he has earned through his hard work and dedication," said Coach Burdick, Webber International University Head Lacrosse Coach Chris Burdick. "His selection to the Puerto Rico national team is a testament to the quality of student-athletes and coaches we develop here at Webber, and we look forward to watching him compete on the international stage this summer."

Webber International University competes as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).
