Kansas City, KS – The NAIA released the Men's Lacrosse preseason poll for the 2026 season Wednesday afternoon. Coming in at the #4 spot is the Webber International Men's Lacrosse team.
The Warriors come in ranked #4 after their best season to date, finishing the 2025 regular season 13-1, and securing their first Appalachian Athletic Conference Regular Season title. Webber returns NAIA All-American and AAC Player of the Year Nick Sheaffer to lead the offense, while All-American Liam Murphy returns between the pipes.
Other AAC teams featured in the initial rankings are Keiser University at #1. The University of the Cumberlands at #2, Reinhardt University at #5, Life University at #8, while SCAD-Savannah, and Tennessee Wesleyan both are receiving votes.
It will be another competitive season in the NAIA and the AAC as the Warriors will open the season against #10 Taylor University on Saturday, January 24th at 1:00 PM on the Warrior Turf Field.
