Lustosa Named Head Men's Indoor Volleyball Coach

Babson Park, FL – Webber International Athletics and Athletic Director Brad Niethammer are proud to announce the hiring of Luiz Lustosa as the Head Indoor Men's Volleyball Coach. Coach Duda brings a wealth of experience to the Warrior Men's Volleyball program and will look to continue the team's recent string of success.

Coach Duda has been coaching since 2013, when he coached the Brazilian Men's National team at the 2013 Olympic University Games. After his time with the National team, he coached High School Girls and Boys at Five Stars VBC, Holy Family Catholic School, Foundation Academy, and The First Academy, taking care of all levels. He made the leap to collegiate coaching in 2018, becoming the Head Coach at Warner University for the Royals. After his time with the Royals, Coach Duda also worked with Team USA as an assistant for the Men's Indoor team.

Prior to his coaching career, Coach Duda had an extensive playing career as well. He started in 1990 playing for E.C. Banespa in the South American Championships. He then added stops in the European Volleyball Confederation playing both Indoor and Beach, The Beach World Championship Series, and various leagues around Europe, including Portugal, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. He also played in the Brazilian College league.

Niethammer is excited for Coach Duda to get to work with the Men's volleyball team.

"We are excited to have Luiz take over our Men's Volleyball program. He brings a winning resume to the Warriors program and will continue to build on the recent success we have achieved."
