TAVARES, Fla. (April 16, 2023) - The Webber International University women's beach volleyball defeated Southeastern University to earn its second AVCA Small College Beach Championship in a row and fourth title overall on Saturday. The Warriors made light work of Missouri Baptist University in the semifinal match before defeating the Fire 3-1 in the championship match.

The 2023 season continues to be a fruitful one for Webber as it has now set a single-season program record for wins with 20. The Warriors have now earned back-to-back titles for both the Sun Conference tournament and the AVCA Small College Beach Championship. It is their third conference championship overall (2019, 2022, 2023) and their fourth small college beach championship (2017, 2018, 2022, 2023).

The Warriors will now prepare for the second edition of the NAIA National Invitational which will take place from April 20-22nd in Panama City Beach, Fla. The tournament consists of six teams and will begin with two pools of three teams. Webber's pool consists of Vanguard University and defending NAIA National Champions, Corban University.
