Beach Volleyball Completes Another 4 Peat at AVCA Small College Nationals

Gulf Shores, AL – One week after winning their fourth straight SUN Conference Tournament, the Webber International Women's Beach Volleyball team completed the 4-peat again, winning the AVCA Small College Beach National Championship. The Warriors did it again against a familiar foe, taking down the Mobile Rams for a second week in a row in the Championship Match.

The Warriors were the Pool B Champions where they were matched up against Brenau and Truett McConnell. The Warriors handled both teams easily, going 2-0 to advance to the Championship Bracket.

Webber played Wayland Baptist in the first game of the bracket, taking down the Pioneers in three sets, 3-0. Webber advanced to the Championship Game where they played Mobile again, who won the A Pool.

The Pair of Abigail Baxter and Delanie Johnson won the Two's court, 21-18 and 21-15. Vivianne Cancio and Claire Jenkins won the Three's 21-18 and 21-16. Bryanna Marks-Craig and Brianna Adams fell on the Five's Court 21-7 and 21-14. Lily Arnold and Anna Morton won the Four's court in three sets, 21-19, 10-21, and 15-8 to secure the victory for the Warriors.

Webber will take this momentum into the NAIA National tournament in Greenville, Tennessee.
