GULF SHORES, Ala. (April 3, 2022) - The Webber International University women's beach volleyball team traveled to Alabama to play in its final two matches of the regular season. The Warriors would take a 3-2 victory over William Carey University on Friday followed by a 3-2 victory over University of Mobile on Saturday. The Warriors end the regular season undefeated in The Sun Conference with a record of 9-0.

MATCH 1: WEBBER 3, WILLAM CAREY 2

- In the No. 1 seed, Cindy Garcia Penaloza and Lily Arnold won in two sets yet again, 21-14, 21-16.
- Montana-Rae Pelak and Bailey Sikkema cruised to victory in the No. 2 spot, 21-13, 21-10.
- The No. 3 seed of Wandaleen Harris and Sara Weisrock were defeated, 21-11, 21-19.
- Jessica Terry and Kiersten Tisdale would win a tight three-set match to earn the victory for the Warriors, 17-21, 22-20, 15-6.
- Brianda Valdez and Nadia Reid would drop a tight match, 17-21, 20-22.
TEAM RECORDS: The win over William Carey improved the Warriors to 9-5 overall and 8-0 in The Sun Conference while William Carey fell to 15-8 and 6-2 in the conference. After defeating Mobile, the Warriors finished the regular season with an overall record of 10-5 and 9-0 in conference, Mobile 14-7 and 5-3 in conference.
NEXT UP: The Warriors will now take part in The Sun Conference Championship tournament on April 8th and 9th.
