COHUTTA, Ga. (April 13, 2021) – The Webber International University women's golf team played in its final tournament of the 2020-21 regular season, competing at the Roadrunner Women's Invitational hosted by Dalton State University at the par-72, 5,851-yard Nob North Golf Course on Monday, April 12, and Tuesday, April 13.
It was also the first three-round tournament of the season for the Warriors as
Hannah Revell (83-83-83; 249) finished 36th and
Lucia Rodriguez Zapico (87-84-82; 253) finished tied for 40th out of 53 total golfers. Also in action was
Mary Varga (104-104-109; 317), who shot her best two rounds of the season so far in rounds one and two, and
Katy Hill (91-89-W; DNF), who tied her season-best round during round two.
Other teams in action included No. 1 Keiser (Fla.), No. 2 Dalton State (Ga.), No. 5 Taylor (Ind.), No. 8 SCAD Savannah (Ga.), No. 18 Campbellsville (Ky.), No. 21 Truett-McConnell (Ga.), (RV) Tennessee Wesleyan, Reinhardt (Ga.), and No. 3 JuCo Eastern Florida.
Next up for the Warriors is the 2021 Sun Conference Championship, which will be held from Sunday, May 2, until Tuesday, May 4, in Daytona Beach, Florida.
