"It is always great to get the first win of the year, especially at home against a tough team like Point," said Head Coach
Gabriel Rutledge. "The guys really showed their heart tonight, being able to bounce back after a tough loss on Tuesday. We played hard on both ends of the floor while playing great team basketball. Loro did an awesome job today, both controlling the boards and protecting the paint, while both Tiyon and Gabriel (Divic) hit some big shots. I'm thankful for our assistants that did a great job making sure we were prepared for the game plan. I'm grateful for the love and support our Webber fans showed tonight, the gym was loud and enjoyable to watch. Go Warriors."
Â
Next, the Warriors travel to Temple Terrace, Florida, on Tuesday, November 2, at 7 p.m. to battle the Florida College Falcons.
