BABSON PARK, Fla. (September 11, 2020) – With Webber International University set to host its first home football game of the 2020 fall season tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. against rival Warner University on the Warrior Turf Field, the institution would like to review its policies and procedures regarding fan and student attendance.
- Webber International University is limiting fan attendance for its Fall sports in 2020 to only current Webber students and family members.
- Fans from competing institutions are not being allowed at this time.
- All home events for Fall sports will require a ticket for entry, and this includes students, faculty or staff members who are already on campus.
- Tickets for home contests will be free of charge, but will only be available online via Eventbrite. No in-person tickets will be made available.
- Entrance through the front gate for all football games held on the campus of Webber International University this Fall will not be allowed until two hours before kickoff (i.e. 11:30 a.m.).
- Upon entrance at the front gate, all fans will be asked to present their ticket and will have a temperature screen completed. Anyone displaying a >100.4 F reading will not be permitted entry into the venue.
- In addition to having their ticket, Webber International University requires all fans in attendance at an event to follow both the CDC guidelines, and the attached Webber guidelines for fan attendance.
- All fans at the Multi-Purpose Turf Field and the Grass Field (football and soccer) are being asked to please bring their own chairs as the bleachers will not be available.
- If you are unable to get a ticket to an event, Webber International University encourages all fans to tune into the live stream for each event found at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/webber/.
