BABSON PARK, Fla. (February 13, 2020) – The Webber International University men's and women's basketball teams are set to host their Crooked Lake rival Warner University early on Saturday, February 15, inside the Sabbagh Athletic Center.
The women's game will tip off at 10 a.m. followed by the men's game at 12 p.m.
Due to the early start, Webber International University will be providing a free breakfast featuring bagels, donuts and more at the double doors/front entrance to the gym starting at 9:30 a.m.
Webber women's basketball is currently alone in fourth place in The Sun Conference women's basketball standings with a TSC record of 9-6 and a mark of 15-10 overall. Warner women's basketball, however, is winless in the conference at 0-15 and is 2-23 overall. The Warriors will be looking to finish off the season sweep of the Royals for the second year in a row.

Grady Morrell said, "We cannot take anyone lightly in The Sun Conference. Warner has improved since our last meeting and they want to win against us to make their year."
The first meeting on the women's side this season between the Warriors and the Royals was a 70-53 victory for Webber on the road on January 11.
Paris Copeland scored 18 points in that game on 7-of-11 shooting from the field while
Eletra Graham added 15 points on 5-of-9 shootng from 3-point range.
Taniya Patrick scored 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting and added seven rebounds and three blocked shots while
LeAndra Franklin again had a great all-round game with six points, eight rebounds, eight assists and six steals.
Webber men's basketball is currently .500 on the year at 13-13 overall and is 6-9 in The Sun Conference, good enough for a tie with Warner (17-10, 6-9) for sixth place in the conference standings. The Warriors have lost 10 of their last 11 meetings with the Royals dating back to January 28, 2015.

Allen Corbin. "I hope we can pack the house for home court advantage. Our guys feed off of the energy."
In the first meeting between Webber and Warner men's basketball earlier this season in Lake Wales, Florida, the Royals came out on top by a narrow score of 79-76.
Tommie Luke led all scorers with 21 points on 3-of-5 shooting from three while also adding seven rebounds and six assists.
Ariel Watson finished with 17 points, six rebounds and five assists and
Malik Morrow added 10 points and five boards. Lastly,
Joel Coffey had a nice game with 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field, and he was also only one rebound shy of a double-double with nine boards.
