Women’s Tennis Defeated by Southeastern on Senior Day

BABSON PARK, Fla.—The Webber women's tennis team celebrated their seniors in their last home match of the season on Saturday. Sun Conference foe Southeastern traveled across Polk County to take on the Lady Warriors.

Eva Nusbaum and Amber Riedel were both honored during the match for all of their accomplishments and contributions to the tennis program during their time at Webber. Coach Hollis said these two student-athletes have given their heart and soul to Webber and he has treasured his time with them! The Lady Warriors were defeated 0-8 by a very tough team from Southeastern. Manuela Vazquez matched up against Morgan Logue at the #5 seed and battled, falling 6-3, 6-0.

Webber will wrap up their season on Sunday, April 2 when they travel to Eckerd College for their final match. First serves are set for 12 pm. Go Warriors!!!
