BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University women's tennis hosted their first two Sun Conference matches against rivals Warner University and Southeastern University, Saturday and Tuesday afternoon.

A determined effort from Sophomore Juliana Fuente allowed her to beat the Royal's, Caitlin Ryan in the No. 3 singles matchup.

The scores were consecutively tight, forcing them into three games, with an end score of: 4-6, 6-4, 10-8.

The Warriors found it hard to get another win through the day, with Warner taking 8-1 win.

On Tuesday against Southeastern, the Warrior's showed great effort, but found it hard to convert their matches against the Fire, and were not able to bring a win home in neither the doubles nor single matches. Webber International fell to Southeastern, 9-0 .
