Lady Warriors Finish Road Trip 4-0 with Sweep Against Wildcats

Box Score MIAMI, Fla. – The Webber International University Lady Warriors volleyball team capped off a 4 game 4 day road trip with another Sun Conference win against Johnson & Wales University. They were 4-0 on the road this week and it moves them to 16-1 on the season.

The Lady Warriors continued to put up some great numbers today against the Wildcats. Tessa Colden led the offensive attack with 15 kills out of 19 attempts giving her a .737 hitting percentage. Nikki McDaniel followed very closely with 12 kills on 18 attempts giving her a .667 hitting percentage. Michelle Calderon had 14 digs on the day leading the defense. Carlee Baxter did her part by adding 37 assists to her overall numbers.

The Lady Warriors kept the hot streak alive today with the win over the Wildcats. However, it is short lived as they must now focus in on this coming week. On Wednesday, they travel to Keiser University to take on the tough Seahawks. On Saturday, the Bobcats of St. Thomas University who are sitting at No. 21 in the nation will visit Babson Park to take on the Warriors for the battle of 1st place in the Sun Conference. Right now Webber holds 1st place with a 6-0 conference record. St. Thomas has a 6-1 record having dropped their only game to Keiser University. Go Warriors!!!
